Condition

This work appears to be in generally good condition overall. There are scattered threadlike and stable craquelures by the thickest areas of the the pigment. No traces of retouching appear to be visible under UV light.

Credo che la pittura sia appena nata, che la materia colore sia, oggi, più che mai nuova, che abbia delle possibilità immense di rivelazione nella sua natura stessa, infinitamente malleabile e meravigliosa.
Tancredi, in occasione dell'inaugurazione della serie "A proposito di Venezia" nel giugno '59 presso la Galleria dell'Ariete.
