This work is in generally good overall condition. There is some minor retouching by the introflexions, visible under UV light. The white tonality is warmer compared to the catalogue illustration.

"Castellani ha realizzato un abbacinante contenitore bianco, che è il risultato più riuscito dell'esperimento folignate. Uno spazio leibniziano quale "ordo coexistendi". Le superfici mutano la loro identità secondo i punti di vista, in una incoatività continua, in una crescente vibrazione; a volte l'effetto di trompe l'oeil porta a sbatterci dentro. I regolari punti di rilievo sfruttano come sempre l'incidenza della luce. Ogni puntatura ha la sua carica spessore-intensità nelle vibrazioni sottili e negli effetti calcolati. Ne vien fuori, più che mai, un risultato di diffusa e graduata tensione (che va oltre il puro valore contemplativo) e un effetto di luminosità profonda."
