Condition
The canvas is not lined. A close inspection reveals some evidence of frame abrasion, mostly along the lower edge, two small scratches in the centre of the right edge and a network of stable hairline shrinkage in the lower right quadrant (as visible in the catalogue illustration). There are three small lines on fluorescence are visible between the stalks of the apples under UV light although this does not appear to be related to any restoration. This work is in good original condition.
