Condition

The bronze is sound with an attractive brown patina. A close inspection reveals some light wear to the most protruding areas, notably along the edge of the base, and a light build-up of dust in the recessive areas. There is a tiny scratch on the reverse, near the base, and a 1cm nick and scuff to the patina on the inside of the rising mermaid. This work is in good condition.
