Don symbolique reçu par la jeune épouse pendant les rites du mariage, ce peigne illustre les adages qui lui étaient personnellement adressés. Il adopte la forme - rare - d'un buste féminin, évoquant dans le parfait équilibre des formes épurées et l'élégance des détails, les canons de la beauté féminine.
