Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration. The overall tonality is a bit less vivid in the original work.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined.
Due to the artist's process, some scattered stabilized cracks located in the black and the navy blue impastos are only visible under close inspection.
A minor paintloss (approx. 0.3 cm) located along the upper edge, 31 cm from the extremity of the upper left corner is only visible under very close inspection.
Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching.
This work is in very good condition.
