Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. The work is executed on its original canvas and it is not relined. Due to the artist's process, few scattered thin cracks are only visible under very close inspection. Are anly visible under very close inspection : - 3 minor losses of paint (less than 0,5 cm each) located on the rim of the lower part of the left edge - 1 minor loss of paint (approx. 0,5 cm) located 0,5 cm from the lower edge and 10 cm from the right edge - 1 tiny loss of paint (approx. 0,1 cm) located 30 cm from the lower edge and 9 cm from the right edge Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching. This work is in excellent condition.
