Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original.
The work is executed on its original canvas and it is not relined.
Are only visible under very close inspection:
- a minor loss of paint (approx. 0,5 cm) located 31 cm from the upper edge and 67 cm from the left edge
- a minor loss of paint (approx. 0,4 cm) located 63 cm from the upper edge and 67 cm from the left edge
- a minor loss of paint (approx. 0,5 cm) located 43 cm from the lower edge and 21 cm from the left edge
- a minor scuff (approx. 0,2 cm) located 57 cm from the lower edge and 35 cm from the left edge, probably due to the artist's process.
Under UV light, a minor dot (approx. 0,8 cm) located 50 cm from the lower edge and 43,5 cm from the left edge fluoresces.
This work is in very good condition.
