Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration but don't convey the thickness of the paint layers.
The work is on its original canvas. There are some remnants of paint on the back of the canvas as well as some paper taped to it and a small patch of canvas in the lower right quadrant. This is probably to reinforce the canvas due to the tickness of the paint on the front.
Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching.
This work is in good condition.
