Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. The work is executed on its original canvas and it is not relined. Are only visible under UV light : - a minor loss of paint (approx. 0,6 cm) located 6 cm from the right edge and 53 cm from the lower edge - a careful retouching (approx. 0,3 cm) located 32 cm from the left edge and 57 cm from the lower edge Are only visible under very close inspection: - a minor loss of paint (approx. 0,6 cm) located along the left edge, 14 cm from the extremity of the lower left corner - 2 minor losses of paint (approx. 0,4 cm) each located at the extremity of the upper and the lower right corners - a few hairline cracks located along the rim of the four edges. This work is in very good condition.
