Description

  • 17 by 15 by 5 in. 43.2 by 38 by 13 cm.
from the center of the front panel, carved in high relief with the figure of an erote standing with his head turned to his right, holding a heavy beribboned garland of leaves over his shoulders, and grasping each swath with one hand.

Condition

As shown, chips and abrasions overall, edges of fragment were cut back and stippled, including part of background, either to make figure appear three-dimensional or for insertion into a wall, or both.
