Tip of nose restored most likely in marble and painted over. Proper right ear better preserved than proper left. Rims of ears probably once restored with plaster. Stress crack running from behind head across proper right side, proper right eye, and mouth. Small area of restoration at end of proper right eyebrow. Eyebrows and area of forehead above nose appear to have been somewhat touched up. Mouth appears to have been reworked. Surface of neck repolished. The bust pieced together from several fragments and reinforced with cement in back. The turned socle probably 19th century.
