worked in polychrome silks and metal-threads on linen grounds (5)
Condition
There are some stains and marks generally to some and some small losses. The embroidered and metal-thread decorated ends are in very good overall condition.
Colours much crisper and more attractive in reality.

Top left corner: 203 by 42.5cm. exceptional quality reverse embroidery to this towel (large detail illustrated in catalogue),
top right corner towel with heavy use of metal thread 36 by 243cm, bottom right corner large metal thread central flowerhead detailed towel 53 by 149cm, bottom left towel with ostrich feather 47 by 116cm. and centre left side with cypress trees 51.5 by 100cm (stained).
