- Turkish School
- Twenty-four full-length single figure portraits of Ottoman types in their distinctive costumes, including the Governor of Constantinople, the chief black eunuch, the Head of the Emirs, and ladies in indoor and outdoor dress
- each inscribed on the lower edge in Turkish transliterated into Latin script, Italian, and Ottoman Turkish identifying the type (one without inscription, one in Ottoman Turkish script and Italian only)
- watercolour, gouache, pen and ink, and gold paint on paper
- each approximately: 28 by 17cm., 11 by 6¾in. (24)

Condition
As visible in the catalogue illustrations, apart from a handful of minor spots of foxing overall these works are in good and fresh condition.
There are some small creases in 3 of the works (2 in the White Eunuch, and 1 each in the Janissary Sargent and the Peyk soldier). Some of the works have thin light marks parallel to the upper edge. There is some light staining in the lower right in the Court Scribe (visible in the catalogue illustration).
Each held in a decorative narrow gold-painted frame under glass, with a white mount.
