Description

  • Ceramic
both of shallow round form on a small foot, decorated in underglaze blue, purple, green, yellow and relief red, outlined in black, each with a standing woman in the centre wearing a long purple kaftan above striped salwar trousers, with a blue and white headdress, each holding a flower, standing between two floral stems, one with old label to base

Condition

Both in overall good condition, one with a drill hole to foot, the other with two minor cracks to edge and one shallow crack in centre of dish, including some crackling along glaze, also with a drill hole to foot, as viewed.
