Description

  • Ceramic
both of shallow round form on a small foot, decorated in an underglaze cobalt blue, green, yellow, purple and relief red, outlined in black, each with a woman in the centre between two composite floral stems, one dressed with blue salwar trousers and the other with a long yellow and green kaftan

Condition

Both in overall good condition, hairline cracks to glaze and pitting to exterior on both, few minor chips along edge and foot of one of the dishes, also with two drill-holes to foot, the other dish with one drill hole, as viewed.
