Condition

Pile low to knowheads and spot foundation overall. With an old irregular stepped reweave to center, which is approximately 3ft. in width at the widest and 5.5ft. in length at the longest. Further smaller scattered old reweaves. Reweaves now faded as visible in illustration. Scattered old repiling and kashmir repiling, some crudely executed. Oxidiced dark browns. Some old tinting. Ends with rewoven borders, lower left corner with an approximately 8in. horizontal tear. Sides with remnants of original selvages but mostly reselvaged and now with some losses and fraying. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt. Linen backing stained and with some tears and losses. Sound fabric, supple handle.
