Description

Each chair and slip seat marked with Roman numerals I, II, III respectively. Seat rails are rebuilt.

Condition

Chair II with scuffs to the back side of the splat; small old chips and losses to the carved apron. Chair III with old repaired break to top of splat at join with cresting rail; the center of the splat with a repaired break above the tassel; large chip to the proper left front of the carved apron - the piece is off and in a bag. Chair I with old small chips to the carved apron. Chair marked I in pencil with deep large old chip to the center of the apron with old polish on it. Chairs appear to have later corner seat blocks; usual old marks, scratches, nicks and bruises to the legs and feet consistent with age and use.
