Worked with silk threads on a linen ground, a woman standing in a doorway with blue lintel, flanked by a palm and weeping willow. signed Margaret Murphy, Harriot's 'Whelan'. Some stain, discoloration and fading. 18 by 18 1/2  inches.

Loss to top left, several holes along upper portion, and with stain to lower edge.
