The first, a "dressed" miniature profile bust portrait of a rosy-cheeked young man, of appliquéd fabric, the reverse with a watercolor of a lady standing beside a monument, in a circular gold-metal locket frame with a painted glass mat in gold, black and white enamel.  The second, watercolor on ivory in a gold-metal oval frame, inscribed on the back: this gift is made ... the plate that's round... my love for you will never end. Pressed scallop foil border. Diameter 2 inches; 2 1/8 by 1 7/8 inches. 2 pieces.
