  • SILVER, GOLD AND ENAMEL

  • 32.7cm
of slender baluster form, enameled in partly translucent colors with numerous falcons in flight in a lightly clouded summer sky, near the base an etched inscription continued underneath, the spreading base rim applied with gold rockwork, the silver detachable pierced cover modeled as a spray of feathers rising from falcon's legs conjoined by a ribbon

tips of the talons missing from cover, not noticeable, a few minor chips to edges of enamel (irregular edge is original), enamel restored at one falcon's wing, a few clouds, and above base rim
