some light scratches and scuffs to centr from use, , festoon decoration with a little wear to high spots, overall good condition

Catalogue Note

This platter was part of a 110 piece "Grand Service" debuted by Tiffany at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris.  All pieces were executed in the "George III" style with festooned decoration matching the present lot.  At that fair, Tiffany recieved Grand Prix for their work in silver, jewelry and leather work.
