Catalogue Note

These dishes, of a variant pattern from other Astor orders, cannot be exactly traced in the archives but probably formed part of the extensive orders for William and Caroline Astor in the 1870s.

We would like to thank Mark Letzer for his help in researching the Astor Kirk orders.
