Catalogue Note

Paulding Farnham experimented with "Florentine" and "Renaissance" motifs in his work for Tiffany in 1904-5. He designed an extensive Renaissance Revival dinner service for the 1904 Louisiana Purchase exhibition in St. Louis; the following year he designed additional forms for it, such as this vegetable dish and cover.
