Catalogue Note
According to Gorham's Martelé archives, as reproduced by Larry Pristo in Martelé 950-1000 Fine Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, Tray ZHX, known as "Fuchsia design" was completed on 16 September 1912. The tray was raised by silversmith F.O. Erichsen in 38 hours, before it was chased for an additional 48.75 hours by chaser Herbert C. Lloyd. The net factory cost was $180.
