  • Height of desk 42 in. by Width 44 1/2 in. by Depth 21 1/2 in.; Height of bookcase 46 3/4 in. by Width 45 in. by Depth 12 1/2 in.
The bookcase appears to have been made between five and ten years of the desk's manufacture.

Condition

The desk secondary woods are poplar and white pine; hardware pulls replaced; proper front right foot with the lower 3 inches of foot facing replaced; top of same foot facing with patch; the second and fourth drawer in case with 1-inch deep lip-repair along length of drawer face; backboards with approximately 3/4-inch shrinkage; sides of case cracked; proper left rear foot with a 3 1/2-inch replacement to foot facing; the proper right side of second drawer to case with facing cracked and re-glued; the hardware is probably the third set. The interior of the bookcase is varnished; the base moldings have been cracked and re-glued; several dentils lost.
