Comprising: A rare large bulbous handled pitcher with green-glazed strap handle, with sticker on side inscribed George S. McKearin Collection of American Pottery, No. 524.,  Height 10 ¼ inches; a rare puzzle jug, with pierced upper section, and hollow handle with tubular spouts, the front with the yellow slip initials R F, the underside with the blue sticker printed inscription “Carleton Brown Collection of American Pottery, No. 2364”, the underside also with the red accession number “…87TRSE“, Height 7 inches; a rare large lidded bowl, with ribbed horizontal strap handles, and mottled greenish brown and red glaze, the underside of lid and base with red painted accession number  E90OEOL (Lacking one handle) Height 7 inches, Overall width 8 inches; a rare circular hot water flask, Attributed to S. Bell and Son, Strasburg, Virginia, of circular form with domed top and protruding spout, with a brown and green spattered decoration on a cream ground, Length 7 inches; a decorated compote, stamped by John Bell, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, circa 1860, of oblong form with scalloped edge, the interior decorated with a brown and green tree, the top edge with brown spattered decoration, all on a cream ground. The underside stamped JBELL (Lacks Lid), Length 12 inches; a rare small sugar or salt shaker, of bulbous form with pierced top, decorated with yellow slip on a red ground, incised on top, Lesro? No. 1839, Height 3 inches; a pair of decorated small candlesticks,Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, of  bulbous with greenish brown mottled glaze, Height 3 1/8 inches; a small red and green-glazed plate decorated with a quadrant design,Diameter 8 ¼ inches; A small brown and green glazed plate decorated with a brown and green slip tulip, Diameter 7 7/8 inches; a slip-decorated plate, with yellow wavy slip design on a red ground,  Diameter 9 7/8 inches; a slip decorated plate, with triple  looped trailed slip design, Diameter,  9 ¾ inches; a slip decorated handled collander, probably Pennsylvania, of cylindrical form and strap handle, the sides pierced and interior covered in red glaze,  raised on three tapered feet, Height 4 ¾ inches, Diameter, 5 ¾ inches; an orange-red glazed collander, probably Continental, of flared form, with ring handles, pierced sides and flared foot, Height 4 ¾ inches, Diameter, 8 inches; together with a green and cream decorated small pitcher, probably 20th century, Height 6 ¼ inches; 15 pieces.

Condition

Large Pitcher; Glaze exfoliation to entire top of rim., Abrasion to front of spout, and small chips to base Puzzle Jug , Overall excellent condition. Lidded Bowl, Lacks one handle, Chips to finial edge and underside of rim of lid and chips to upper edge of bowl and foot. Hot water flask, chips to edge of spout Compote – Lacks lid, small flakes to edge of rim, 1 inch hairline crack to rim Pair of Candleholders, each with chips to foot Sugar Shaker, some minor exfoliation to perforated area of top. Chip on foot. Quadrant Small plate, Overall excellent condition Small Tulip decorated plate, Some wear to interior Wavy slip trailed small plate , Some wear to interior , small chips to top edge Triple wavy line decorated plate , old chips to top edge ( approximately 8 or more ) Cylindrical Collander , chips to two feet, and wear on interior.
