Condition

Secondary woods are poplar, yellow pine and Atlantic white cedar; the interior of drawers have been varnished; hardware is replaced; proper left and right side of case cracked and with later 20th-century glue blocks added to inside face; top reset; proper left and right sides of underside of top re-secured with later glue block and screws; locks replaced; several corner patches to drawer lips; several drawer lips restored; the central carved drawer's proper right side is composed of two boards, possibly original in its construction; central drawer once with a later fitted interior that has since been removed.
