Condition

Pile ranges from closely sheared 1/10th of an inch, generally in borders with most of field low to knotheads. Dark browns oxidized to knotheads and spot foundation. Scattered areas of foldwear also showing foundation. Repiled moth damage. Rewoven in repiled areas across the upper quarter of carpet, where it must have been quite severely moth damaged. Partially rewoven side borders, rewoven end guard borders. Some tinting in old reweaves. Reselvaged. Sides and ends now secured. Flexible handle, sound fabric, restored and ready for use.
