Condition

Pile ranges from near original closely sheared 1/10th" with areas of wear, especially through center low to knotheads. Dark blues leading into ivory at each end, more pronounced at the lower end. Some very vivid oranges, probably a chemical dye. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt. A 3x2" reweave in the lower end of the field. There is also a 6x2" reweave at lower end of the field. Sides intact with minor fraying and later overcasting. Ends missing outer guard border stripes. Ends secured with binding stitch and cloth tape sewn on reverse. Very supple handle, sound fabric and condition.
