Condition

Pile generally good, near original 1/8th of an inch with some dark browns oxidized to knotheads and scattered areas of foldwear, also low to knotheads. Few areas of horizontal foldwear on each side showing spot foundation. Scattered minor moth tracks, particularly in borders. Small areas of old repiled moth damage, now faded, not extensive. Minor fraying, some areas of selvages fraying. Recommend securing. Ends with remnants of glue residue on reverse. Upper end with some repaired vertical foldwear slits. Very supple handle, lustrous wool, good vivid color and good overall condition.
