Catalogue Note

In Colonial Massachusetts Silversmiths and Jewelers, Patricia E. Kane attributes this maker's mark to Thomas Milner, noting that it could also have been that of Thomas Mullins or Thomas McCullough, also of Boston.  Few known pieces survive with this mark.  She lists a cup, mug, porringer and two tankards, pgs. 684-86.
