Condition Report from from Lowy (date: 11/14/2011):
The artwork is a pastel drawing which has been executed on a colored laid paper. The paper support is discolored and oxidized exhibiting scattered foxing throughout the verso as well as planar distortions along the left and right edges. There are also several spots of foxing showing through to the lower left and lower right quadrants of the artwork. The pastel media layers, which has been applied directly to the paper, are in stable condition. Ultraviolet examination reveals a normal fluorescence of artist pigments and no visible prior restoration. The artwork appears to have a light layer of surface dirt and no presence of a fixative over the pastel media layers.
