composed of buffalo hide, painted in numerous colors against the white ground, with a concentric triangle, a representation of a rain cloud, flanked by kachinas, each in traditional costume, grasping corn stalks, surmounted by a crescent device, the perimeter pierced and tied with thick hide strips for suspension.

Condition

Typical wear for its age with abrasions but overall good condition. Native repair near the perimeter indicated by the hide lashing overlaying a split in the hide. Stable.
