Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Chipping around brim above face, and to features including ears. Losses to left (as oriented in catalogue photograph) arm and leg. Vertical age cracks. Cavities in bottom section. Cut and mounted with support and bolt to a plate, which is in turn mounted on a green marble plinth. Old paper label with "546", and two others, one faded, one with indistinct writing in pencil. Vertical age cracks, including some open cracks around mount. Small section of uppermost tip broken and glued. Small loss to extreme tip. Fine reddish medium brown patina.
