Condition
Very good condition for an object of this type and age. Very minor marks, nicks, scratches and abrasions from age and use. Vertical age cracks in bottom jaw extending from holes for attachment. Fine aged surface with remains of kaolin and black pigment. Raffia attachment is dry but in an excellent state of preservation. Permanently fixed to base post. Number "441" faintly visible in white on reverse. Gold number "35" affixed to base. Minor chipping to edges of base.
