Condition
Very good condition for an object of this type and age. Minor marks, nicks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. Strings of glass beads around the necks of both figures and around the mother's proper right ankle. Some hairline vertical age cracks including one to the front of her neck, the front of her abdomen, through buttocks of both figures, and one in proper right front of handle. Chipping around bottom edge of handle. Exceptionally fine reddish brown patina with remnants of black and blue pigment and clay. Permanently fixed to base.
