Condition

Overall in very good condition. This table, as requested by the original purchaser with a finish coat over the top of the burled redwood surface. This was done to make the table more functional and to protect the soft redwood. The finish to the top with some circular areas of indentation and abrasions (also visible in the catalogue illustration). There is surface dirt to the recessed portions of the top and surrounding crevices. The walnut base with a few surface scratches and nicks. Redwood tables are rare within the work of Nakashima and this table with a rich tone and dynamic freeform shape.
