Condition

Overall very good condition. The proper left leg of the music stand with a minor vertical age crack possible lightly restored, which is currently stable and does not impact stability of the music stand. This work has a deeply sculptural presence with the seemingly floating stand element. To wood selected for the piece presents with strong coloration in person and with beautiful figuring. A wonderful work from the early period of Wendell Castle’s career.
