Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The chairs retain their original leather. Each chair with scattered surface discolorations, minor crazing and shallow surface scratches, consistent with age and use. The discolorations are isolated primarily to the central portion of the backrest, as seen in the catalogue illustration. The upper corners on each of the backrest with some minor rubbing and edge fraying, consistent with use. Both the chairs with one minor breaks to the leather to the seats two inches in from the outer edge, adjacent to where the seat frame meets the seat cushion to the reverse. These are consistent with use and have minimal impact to the appearance of the chairs, as they are small and concentrated to the edges of the chair seat. The chromium-plated legs with some minor surface scratches and rubbing to finish consistent with age and use. Each chair has acquired a wonderful patina with age and remain in stable original condition.
