Overall in very good condition. The leading around the top aperture of the shade was recently stabilized by a professional Tiffany conservator due to some minor leading separations. This conservation was sensitively executed and is not visibly apparent. The shade with approximately 25-30 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, and with a few very small and minor associated edge flecks to the glass. Approximately five of the glass cabochons with tight hairline cracks, and one with an associated shallow surface loss. The patinated bronze base is in very good condition and displays exceptionally fine casting details and a rich russet-brown and green patina. The patinated bronze surfaces on the base with minor surface wear, some occasional abrasions and gentle rubbing to the high points of the patina consistent with age and gentle use. The interior shaft of the adjustable base with some expected wear, abrasions and rubbing to the patina from continued surface contact over the years. The three sockets and paddle switches all appear to be original and undisturbed. With replaced heat cap. A striking example of this iconic model, displaying a dynamic and artistic color palette. The vigorously mottled mustard background glass presents a striking juxtaposition with the cobalt blue dragonfly spines, varied jewel-toned wing glass and emerald green cabochons.
