Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 18 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The patinated bronze base is in very good condition, displaying an exceptionally rich russet brown patina heightened in green. The patinated bronze surfaces with some occasional surface scratches, abrasions and rubbing to the high points of the patina consistent with age and use. Upon close examination there are some minor losses to the top layer of green patina along the interior recessed contours of the cushion base, revealing the russet brown patina below. The sockets and paddle switches all appear to be original and undisturbed. With replaced knop finial. The lamp displays beautifully in person with a bold and artistic glass selection. The background glass is rendered with vigorously mottled glass incorporating a saturated range of cobalts, purples and greens. The glass selection in the floral register incorporates a variety of different glass techniques, including mottled, striated, opalescent and softly rippled glass, imparting the shade with great visual interest and depth.
