Condition

Overall excellent condition. This lot appears to have been only gentle used and stored for many years, with a few minor surface scratches and some very minor areas of discoloration to the metal components. Presently the wiring to electrify the lamp has been cut in order to ship the work dissembled. The wires appear electrically stable and require an electrician to re-attach the existing wiring. Please visit Sothebys.com for a photograph of period advertisement that is being sold with this lot. A monumental work, which remains as of Gaetano Pesce’s most identifiable works. An excellent example of the model with provenance dating back to its production.
