Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The metal painted shades with some light surface scratches and minor isolated spots of the losses to the paint. The brass standards with discoloration throughout consistent with aging process of the material. The rubber elements that serves as the joint between the standard and the feet with considerable cracking to the surface. This element is currently stable, but remains delicate. The rubber element can be moved up and down the standard to the adjust the angle of the light. One the rubber ends of the feet has been lost. The remaining foot is likely a later edition, and this example of lacking the original rubber terminates. This is a very rare work to appear at auction in original condition. A wonderful variable design.
