Condition
Overall in very good condition. The damascene glass shade is in very good condition, with only a few minute pinhead size flecks to the outer edge of the top aperture rim. The glazed pottery base is in very good condition, with no visible condition issues, and it is not drilled (the electric cord extends from the oil canister insert). The oil canister insert has been converted to electricity, but retains the original burner devices, gas valves and switch device. The top of the canister has been drilled for the electric cord, and the electric socket has been replaced. The oil canister unit, ring mount and shade arms show surface wear, soiling and discoloration consistent with age and use. A very charming lamp displaying a rare decorated pottery base.
