Condition
Please note that one of the favrile glass “Lily” shades has a crack extending upward from the ruffled rim approximately 1½ inches in length. The estimate on this lot has been reduced to $2,000-3,000 to account for this condition issue. The three Lily shades are an assembled set, showing slight variations in form and color. One shade as mentioned above has a crack extending upward from the ruffled rim, and the other two shades are in very good condition. The shades with some very light abrasion marks to the exterior from surface contact over the years with the bronze shade bobeches, and one shade with what appears to be a very small particulate adhesion to the interior surface (inherent in the making). The metallic gilt base with expected wear, surface soiling and discoloration consistent with age and use. One of the three porcelain socket casings appears to be replaced. Base switch appears to be original and undisturbed.
