Overall very good original condition. The design of this piece is executed in a way to adjust to varying ceiling heights. There are two adjustable brass collars that affix to the black portions of the standards which holds white standard in place. The black standards are independent elements, and therefore can be adjusted separately. The maximum height of the coat rack is approximately 139 inches. Please contact the department for installed photographs to show the work in its entirety. The white leather portion of the standard with some surface dirt, light rubbing, and areas of abrasions and minor fraying to the portion to the top and bottom that abuts the brass collar, all of which is consistent with age and use. The present model retains the original metal foot and the metal component at the top of the coatrack. The horizontal poles are solid rods that pass through the white portion of the standard and can be varied in position. A very dynamic work with significant versatility in the design.
