Condition
Overall in fair condition. This mirror has been recently professionally restored to stabilize losses to the glass overlays in the frame portion, and to re-stabilize a prior restoration to a three inch portion of the first decorative tier of the frame. The mirror has also been stabilized and the frame was restored to repair some minor warping to the frame. Approximately 17 of the triangular panels to the decorative portion of the frame are presently lacking the glass overlay covering the foil insets and currently expose the foil underneath. There are minor losses and discoloration to the silvering beneath the glass inclusions to the frame which is visible in the catalogue illustration and consistent with the aging process of the mirror. The central mirror in this example is a convex mirror.
Due to the fragile nature of this mirror, special handling and/or packing may be required during the shipping process. Please inquire directly with the 20th Century Design or Post Sale Services Departments if you have any questions or require assistance regarding the shipping of this item.
