Condition

Overall in good condition. The top with a possible later finish that was added at some point in its history. The top of the desk with a triangular-shaped veneer loss measuring 2 1/2 inches in length to the proper left front edge of the desk, visible in the catalogue illustration. With an area of replaced veneer adjacent measuring four inches in length which was done by a professional restorer. The top with minor surface scratches, and light cracking to the veneer throughout. The drawers move with ease. The metal elements of the frame with dullness and dark discolorations consistent with the natural aging process of the material. Some of the fastening hardware has been replaced at some point in the piece’s history.
