Condition

Overall in very good condition. The present lot has been in the collection of the present owner for over 15 years. These chairs are possibly re-caned at some point in the chairs’ history. The wooden frames with some light surface scratches, abrasions, a few scattered edge losses and a few minor seam separations, each consistent with use The wood used to create chairs without a heavy finish and the wood presents in almost an unfinished state. Each of the chairs retain a remnant of the painted stenciled number to the reverse of the chair at the center portion of the seat frame. The cane is in excellent condition with no losses or significant breaks.
